We say “members” because we are a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by the people we serve. Every decision we make is focused on helping our member-owners achieve their financial goals.

Founded nearly a century ago by employees of the Bloomfield Board of Education, we have grown to serve employees of nearly every Board of Education in Essex County, employees of Essex County and certain state court employees. While our membership has grown, our commitment to putting our members first has remained the same.

We began as a small credit union offering savings and loan services and have evolved into a full-service financial institution. Today, we offer a complete range of financial services along with the personalized support that our members need.
